The M-CARE webinar brought together leading experts from across Africa and beyond to explore innovative solutions for improving care for people living with multiple long-term chronic conditions. Discussions focused on the growing burden of cardiometabolic diseases and mental health disorders, the challenges facing African health systems, and the urgent need for integrated, patient-centred care. The event highlighted emerging evidence, practical tools such as WHO PEN and mhGAP, and valuable insights from the M-CARE Project in Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda. Participants gained actionable strategies and a shared vision for strengthening chronic disease care and improving health outcomes across the continent.
