Solomon Nyame is a Global Health Researcher specializing in mixed methods research related to non-communicable diseases, including mental health, and implementation research.
I aim to enhance healthcare accessibility and improve health outcomes, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. My work centres on increasing healthcare accessibility, enhancing chronic disease care at the primary care level, and examining the social and environmental factors that influence non-communicable diseases, including mental health, in Ghana. Regarding research outputs, I have contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles.
I am concluding my PhD in Cardiovascular Epidemiology at the esteemed University of Utrecht. My research evaluates the impact of a Task Strengthening Strategy for Hypertension (TASSH) control within community-based primary health services in Ghana on hypertension outcomes and access to care.
